"It's a girl's car" What's your response?
« on: May 07, 2013, 03:53:15 pm »
I sometimes get this at work with people who think they're into cars or know cars......righhhhhhhhhtt.....

If it makes me mad, I argue it, how is it a girl's car (I don't mean to sound sexist here) when it's got turbo, stiffened suspension/ride, 160bhp etc etc.

Or I just agree, yeah totally is, just why I bought it and then they've no comeback :)

Although, I probably helped their case other week when I had my girlfriend's Legend Blue cabrio, roof down, shades on blaring One Direction out hahaha.

Ha I get abuse about my APE all the time. "It's a fiat" bla bla. Doesn't bother me... You'll be more gutted when my "Fiat" (at which is only a 1.4) destroys your 320D!  ;D

Just shows how looks can deceive...

The Abarth 500 is so pure in what it is the majority will miss the best kept petrolhead secret!

Just nod your head and say yeah it's a girls car mate... You DON'T want one. Now feck off and stop waisting our time!

    Response #1

"grab your handbag & lets go for a spin"

    Response # 2

"Yeap - it is such a chicks, car........................
Seriously chicks just dig my Abarth 500,
Never have a I had a car that the girls just adore, I have had many a random girl come up to me to say how much they like my car.  Friends, family, acquaintances, colleagues (who are female) all comment positively - "oh, that is soooo cute", "just love your car", "wow that is nice, "this interior is classy as ...."
Now these girls are the types who see someone pull up in a Beemer, Porker and think to themselves ..."tosser"
................If only I was single again !!!
My wife jokingly suggests I drive with a stick ...."to beat the girls way"
So yeah - it is such a chicks' car ......
Now about that Holden Ute of yours ......"

If the guy in the Type R coming back from brooklands thought DQ'S bright yellow car, was a girls car, he may have changed his mind now. ;D............it went something like this
