At last! Abarth have had my deposit nearly 6 months......

Can someone please confirm that if you have red leather front seats, you get black leather rears?
This must be a joke surely?

I can confirm - its the reason I didnt take the red leather.

If you spec red leather, its for the front seats only-  you CANNOT have red rear seats.

    That is so S**t!
It just goes to show Fiat still have no idea how to build cars.
Beginning to think another Cooper S is on the cards. (and I don't like that much!)

Bit of a rash decision over some seats?  Just take the black leather - looks great with the red stitching.

Or wait until one of us has seen a UK spec car with the red leather...

I'm not saying they will be any different to European ones, but they could be...

THey arent. The UK spec one at the Ace Cafe and NEC Motorsport show had red leather with the black rear bench.

Dont forget its not the whole of the front seat that is red  - just the back and bum rest along with the door cards.

Its a quirk, but the rear bench definatley only comes in black leather for both RHD and LHD markets - its something I guess they may correct in the future.

You do have to wonder why the decision was made in the first place? ???

    Mine are; 50/50.

I cant remember if it was standard or optional extra - but the functionality is there if you want it.

50/50 seats are standard with leather on the Fiat 500, so i see no reason why it would be any different with the Abarth version.

I'm suprised your still interested your very negative about Abarth and Fiat. The red leather is a popular option in Europe and I'm sure it will be here!

When I read this earlier my immediate reaction was also 'what a stupid idea, that will look weird', but after euroboy reminded me that the red in the front seats was effectively just the large 'inserts' on the seats and that the surrounding part of the seat was black I guess it probably looks fine.

To be really honest, those seats look so bloody lovely I doubt I'd ever notice, I'd just be distracted by that interior all the time. Lovely. Someone please circulate my photo, username and date of birth to all Abarth dealers and refuse to serve me, this build up is seriously testing my financial restraint.

So, the cars are going to be in dealers this week? Its my week off. Noooooooooo. ;)
