I think they generally tell you to take it easy in the first 1000 miles, in the VWs I had they would always recommend not exceeding 75% of the vehicles top speed and avoid high revs.Will be interesting to see Krad's fuel figures after his trip home. I wonder how long it'll take for the engines to really settle in?
