iOS 10 has broken Blue&Me
« on: October 25, 2016, 10:36:11 pm »
My iPhone 6 always worked fine in my A500 (my car is late 2011 with the newer setup that didn't need the extra dongle).

However, since I upgraded to iOS 10, the bluetooth connection drops early during calls. I thought iOS 10.1 might cure the problem, but no such luck.

Symptoms:
- When I initiate a call from the steering wheel, the call will ring and mostly work long enough for the call to be answered, then a few seconds into the call, the dash will display "NO BLUETOOTH" and then "PHONE ON" and the call will still be in session on my iPhone.
- If I then select something like "LAST CALLS" from the steering wheel, after displaying "SEARCHING" for a while, Bluetooth will reconnect, but if I make another call, the same thing will likely happen.
- If I am already in a call before starting the car and the call transfers onto Blue&Me when it gets turned on, then everything will work just fine.

I've tried deleting all users and all user data and re-pairing, but this didn't resolve the issue.

Has anyone else had the same problem?

Any advice?

Thx.

Have you tried a hard reset on the phone?

    Yep thsnks. Tried that.

Interestingly - I removed reo bluetooth pairings to a Divoom Aurabox bluetooth speaker and subsequently my iPhone was working this afternoon with Blue&Me.

Paired my iPad to the Divoom speaker in the meantime so that I can continue to monitor my iPhone with Blue&Me as its only pairing.

Will report back in a few days.

    Update as promised...

All has been fine with Blue&Me/iPhone6/iOS10 since I 'forgot' the other bluetooth pairings on my iPhone.

Will re-introduce them and see if things still work.
