Oil Filter Type
« on: March 22, 2011, 05:32:11 pm »
Hi all, been a while since I last posted.  Just wanted to know if there are two types of oil filter used in the 135 A500?  I think there maybe a UFI and Purflux filter used but unsure which one to order.  Is there a quick way of telling by chassis / engine number etc?

If it is the Purflux one as seen on shop4parts under S4P1103 would it affect my warranty and do I need to order from Abarth / Fiat themselves.

Also went to my local Fiat dealer on Sat to ask if they would do an oil change.  No chance!  Apparently Abarth have told them not to touch the cars.

Its a paper filter, I bought mine from GSF part number 120GM0090,purflux. Says purflux on the filter housing, was easy to do did it myself, big under tray underneath!

Deffo only one filter type I tripple checked it! (I work for Gsf, went through all the big paper catalogues all said the sane thing)
