Petal wheels word of warning
« on: March 06, 2010, 08:38:11 pm »
Has anyone noticed how tempting it is to stick your hand through
the opening in the petal wheels to clean the inner area's, well watch out
for the sharp cover over the rear disc brake because it bites.
got an inch cut down my thumb and a big chunk missing from my ring
finger >:(, but the car looks fantastic, worth the pain. :thumb:

I recommend the EZ car care brushes. They're strong & long lasting.
They're also great for cleaning the calipers etc.

I now put on an old washmit after removing the tops of my knuckles on the first two washes.  >:(

Can't say in relation to the paint work its any worse  or better than cars I've previously had.... maybe you're just being much more obsessive about it  ;)

One of the tyres on my 17" petals has a nail in it. It hasn't punctured but I suppose I'm better getting it fixed.

I couldn't manage to prize off the scorpion centre cap, but does anyone know if these alloys have a special locking nut?

I don't recall getting one but just thought I'd ask.

locking nuts should be in the boot.  Mine came as standard.

yes they do, check in the boot, (where the spare tyre would be - if we had one!) you'll find a little black box it should be in there.
