Didn't think I'd ever buy a private plate but splurged out and bought one, thought Spike needed it to complete him. I'm sure I will have the Chav element hounding me now!  ;D

As Keith Richards tells it, Jones came up with the name "The Rollin' Stones" (later with the 'g') while on the phone with a venue owner. "The voice on the other end of the line obviously said, 'What are you called?' Panic. The Best of Muddy Waters album was lying on the floor—and track one was 'Rollin' Stone Blues'".

Don't know that much about UK plates SS. Do you mean FA57 EST? Or is that an old style plate eg 1970's - ?

I also like FA57 TUB for an Abarth, still available. Bit of humour. ;)

EDIT: durr you mean a plate from c. 1989?

Very pleased to say that mine is AB09RTH. Even the dealer was highly impressed that I managed to get this!

Hmmmm..............I wonder how much it is worth or indeed how much somebody is willing to pay for it?
And now we have lots of pretty clothes, many friends and many foes, looking wonderful but heaven knows who will want us........

My dealer was impressed with my AA59RTH or A A59RTH and I was wondering what it's worth too. I guess anything's for sale at a price...

There is a plate on ebay at the moment, about £500 i think. It reads ES53SEE, not bad for an Esseesse owner?
Abarth 500 Esseesse, Campovolo Grey, Red Stripes, Mirrors and Checked Roof, Red Leather, Climate Control, Auto Dim Mirror, White Esseesse Wheels (summer), Titanium Esseesse Wheels (winter), White 'Race' Key Cover.
