Sabelt rattle!!!
« on: May 23, 2020, 11:30:02 am »
So I bought my 595 comp recently and noticed a rattle coming from the passenger seat. It sounds like a bolt rolling side to side in the back panel of the seat. Anyone had any luck in getting the back panel off?

The backs don't come off, the upholstery has to come off the front. I'm going to take the drivers one apart on the wife's Esseesse this weekend at some stage so I'll try and take some pics for you  :thumb:

I was hoping there’d be a small gap to at least too the screw out of but no luck. I’ll just have to put up with the noise of a screw rolling side to side on every turn! :'(

As BiAS said the backs don't come off, mine also had a screw or nut rolling about. Drives you nuts  ;D

Right, I've had the seat to bits, written a how to for how I repaired the broken seat release with pictures, but it keeps telling me no external links and won't let me post. I've spent the best part of 24hrs trying various hosting for the pictures. How can it be this difficult  >:(
