Just be calm and collected when you phone.

If they were sold as 'official' and it says this on the invoice then get a proper job done, if they were not sold as official and this isn't detailed on the invoice I'm not sure what can be done.

How much did you pay for them if you don't mind me asking?  If you paid less then £160 I wouldn't have expected them to be legit.

Other than that you happy with the car?  Try not to let a small incident like this spoil your enjoyment of such a great little car.

hasn't put me off at all, fantasic little car, i found that out on the Yorkshire meet last weekend,
a few little tweeks and it will be even better, have not had a car like it since my 205 gti's

A quick update on my side stripe dellemma.

Phoned Autoworld today spoke to Ben who sold me the car, and told him i wasn't happy with the
side stripes, i told him they were not actual Abarth Decals, he told me they were made up by an outside company,
didn't tell me that when we bought the car, i said they are the wrong colour and font, i mentioned the stripes were not on straight and too high, the reply, wait for it i quote "they are not guaranteed to be straight as they are put on by hand" i kid you not.
I asked if the stripes were available as a factory option, yes they were, but they are really expensive, and allot
more expensive than the ones they fitted, i didn't care i just wanted  the correct ones on, and he never gave me the option to purchase these.
Slightly mad by now, and his sales voice had gone from mr nice, to i can't be arsed with this.
Anyway he said he would look into it, and ring me back which he did 10 mins later saying it would take three weeks to get them and would
cost him a small fortune, not true i had already rung baur millets for a price for genuine  Abarth decals price was £82 each side.
He refused to fit them from my home and wont fit them for four weeks blaming his work load of cars going out this month.
Conversation deteriorated and i left it there as i was losing patience by then.
Also offered him some advice and suggested he should talk to his 'sticker" company and at least get them to match the mirror colour to the
side stripes, don't think he like that suggestion.

Very peed of with them, big email going to Abarth uk tomorrow.

I will keep you upto date with how it goes.

that is not right if you asked for abarth decals you should have the coreect ones anyone can go to the graphic company, keep pressureising him ask for his bosses name and addres and go higher up the ladder!

It's quite shocking that they have done this.

I'm sure Abarth would be very interested to hear the full story.

I've always found Autoworld, both sales staff and especially the service centre, to be very helpful.

Perhaps you approached them with the wrong attitude.

Let me explain again. They have sold me side stripes that are not original, for £165.
they are not on straight, wrong font, wrong colour.
go to ebay and search for abarth sidestripes, they are £17.99
They are takimg the P**s
And i was very pleasant on the phone to them yesterday by the way.

The dealer principal at Autoworld is Paul Burtoft. Ben sold me my car for the record he's only a Fiat salesman. Jonathan the Abarth specialist never seems to be there.
