Springy clutch pedal
« on: February 16, 2020, 05:32:54 pm »
Hi all
Had a brand new 500 abarth (entry level 135) back in 2014, after owning dull cars for a few years I've just treated myself to a brand new (pre reg) 595 turismo, and it's great !
However I've noticed (500 miles in now) that the clutch pedal is "springing" the last new cm of travel, doesn't affect the usage but has a notable pinging to it.
Is this something I need to contact dealer about or just a feature ?
Thanks

Come on guys, there's no point in having an abarth forum of no one posts !
Surely one of the 47 people who viewed a post on an abarth forum own an abarth, I'm just asking to tap your clutch down a few cm and see if it springs back, don't even need to turn the engine on.
Forums like this die if no one posts

Drive MTA but, have you looked under the pedal if there is anything loose? Personally I would just call or pop by the dealer when the car is brand new and have them look at it.
