Hi all,

Bought a brand new 2020 Turismo a couple weeks ago. Now, maybe i was expecting too much from it as I thought it would be quicker?
Don't know if that's true or just in my head, maybe others can give their impressions on it.
First gear seems tame and the turbo doesn't seem very full on. I was expecting the turbo to be a bit more aggressive.
Would a remap make a big difference in the way the turbo behaves? i.e kick in earlier and stronger.

I don't want to start getting too down about this brand new car but I already want it to have a bit more oomph if you see what I mean.

Any thoughs about this and what a remap can do/achieve for this stock Turismo would be much appreciated, thanks.

Perhaps you can try a bluespark box before any mods and remap that will void your warranty. At a cost of approx £180  shipped it would certainly give you an impression as to what a remap could achieve later on down the road and of course you could sell it on once you get your remap.
I have one fitted to my 695 XSR (165ps) and on setting D it certainly makes a noticeable difference. My car has just crossed the 3 year warranty threshold so i may add an intercooler and a proper remap at some point.

GTMartin, I couldn't agree more with you on that. The car/engine feels much better now with 400 miles on the clock than it ever did from the 5 miles it had on it from new.
I said exactly this to my friend a couple days ago, and seeing your post just now, also backs this up.

He has a 2003 Audi S3 (225hp) and he was soo impressed with my car with the Quantum tune. He was astounded with the rate of pick up and boost and general way the car drives that he has branded it a 'hooligans' car with that torque and torque 'steer', he just loves these cars now.

He also swears to god that it's faster/quicker than his S3, and I actually have to agree with him. A little thing called power to weigh ratio and his car weighing 1450 kg.
