None of the EU spec Turismos which are currently on the market have a crackle dash. All are body colour.

i'm having a hell of a time speccing a 595.  info is conflicting and nearest dealer told me that they are speccing turismos as comps because customers are giving 'negative feedback' to the sabelts.  i also can't test drive their sabelt equipped 595 comp when it arrives but can sit in it (i need to try sabelts) - can test drive a turismo though - without sabelts ??? :(

    what's everyone ordered?

Do you know what the 'negative feedback' is regarding the sabelts? I tried them and they are different to the standards seats. Now wondering if I should change to a turismo( my order hasn't gone in yet due to problems with the ordering system... Still!)

it's difficult to know if it was a sales technique but i think they were implying that customers wanted comp spec but not the sabelts due to comfort issues.  i've never sat in them but love the thought of them so am going to try them out first.  but they can't offer me a driving demo in them ::)

oh well, sept 10th apparently dealers are getting them.  as soon as they're in i'm at the dealers - whichever one it is.

record grey or red/grey bi-colour comp is the decision to make.  mean or happy, i just don't know who i want to be ;D

Lordy me.... So, now the Monza has gone the same way as the wheels, and next to get knocked off are the seats!

And how much are these supposed to be?
A500SS BNW.... loved every moment of ownership, but could be off to the world of JCW Minis soon - due in no small part to stupid spec constraints on the 595

I think you may have mis read Goldie, the Monza is still standard on the Competizione.

If that is the case it is completely mad for Abarth UK to be putting a Competizione on display at car shows with the regular exhaust. Come to that they are still showing images of a 595 on their website with SS wheels and yellow calipers.

If Monzas eventually do end up on the 595 Comp it wouldn't surprise me if dealers have to retro fit them here in the UK.

The launch of the 595 seems to have been as long, tortuous and disorganised as it was at the UK launch of the 500 Abarth. A proper configurator for the 595 still isn't available - how hard is that in this day and age?

In the case of the original 500 it was just under seven months before I finally received my car after paying the deposit.

Vospers have a decent configurator which I've played to death with, thanks John :thumb:  No visual aid though from Abarth.  I don't think there's any doubt the comp will come with a monza, it's never been mentioned that it won't.

But yes, the ss wheels is deceptive on shots.  the new abarth catalogue i received friday does show the correct wheels though (5 spokes).  but you can have any wheels for nominal fee.

i'm settled on 595 record grey comp with sabelts.  if the sabelts are too hard i'll get a cushion ;D

i've always thought there should be a 'comfort cover' for sabelts so on a long journey (say to the ring) just plop it on over the seats if you start getting sore.  bit like padded bike pants or gel seat cover :D

I do not think the SS wheels will be available for a nominal fee, the petals and 10 spokes I agree. I hope I am wrong

The Monza will be fitted by dealers in UK along with an ecu re-flash and fit the mats!  :)
