I am getting esseessed this afternoon.  I've had the car for nearly a month and I'm over the 1000 miles.
Totally in the interests of science, I drove to work this morning like a Grandad with a trilby and made a few notes about fuel consumption in both eco and sport modes.  I was getting overtaken by all sorts, but it had to be done.  The temptation to stick the toe down was very difficult to overcome!!
I'll make some more notes once the kit is on and then I'll post up the results so you can all have some real data.

I made a topic about MPG's/fuel consumption a few weeks ago, be sure to post the results in there for all to see! I am curious to know whether the esse esse kit will affect the fuel consumption. I'm quite tempted by the esse esse kit myself, i've done 3300 miles in 8 weeks so far, but i'm going to leave it as long as possible, to save up! Are you having the white of titanium wheels? I quite like the look of white wheels on a white car.
p.s. best MPG so far for me was 50 MPG.

Any speed trails planned?

Yes, I'd really like to know real before and after performance data. In particular things like 40 - 60 acceleration through the gears (ie overtaking ability - that's where it really matters)

Hi y'all.
I'll put something in the mpg post about my findings for the day.
All went well with the fitting of the kit.  Everyone at SG Petch in York is great and they let me into the garage to watch the work being carried out and take some pictures.  I'll put something about that in the dealers thread.
One minor problem was that the red coating on the springs was in pretty poor condition on two of the springs (Fronts).  They swapped them over with some from another kit, which, to be honest, weren't much better.  The scrapes were through to the metal, so I was concerned about corrosion, but I was assured that the springs never fail in the middle.  It is always the end bits that corrode due to water and dirt in the 'tray' they rest in.
I haven't had a great deal of opportunity to test out the kit yet on some nice roads.  I left the garage in traffic on the York ring road and then did 80 miles up the A1 and into more traffic around Newcastle.  What I can say is that the acceleration is superb.  The power is just there whenever you want it.  A bit of turbo lag, but it soon kicks in and wheee, your head is thrown back and off you go...  I was with a TVR for a while which was good fun.  Under the conditions I was driving, I didn't find the springs much harder than the standard ones, but I'm sure they'll make a difference on the twisty roads.  So far I'm very pleased.

Brakes still need bedding in a bit.  I wasn't doing a lot of braking up the A1.  I'll post some more when I manage to get out and drive it!  Doing family things today.
