Titanium SS wheels that is; out of the shed and on the motor in place of my beloved 16s.

Quick whizz round the block and I'm thinking it feels a bit more planted despite a bit of new-tyre wheelspin.  One question - I had to whip off the locating studs for the 16s; do the SS wheels just do without?

(Given the particular low grade of soft cheese the wheels are made from, I think i could have just pushed them onto the studs - the 1st wheel was a bit like that...)

    The rubber is allegedly better than on the standard wheels although the wheels themselves are heavier.

    Should be fine without the pins. My OZ wheels do without them.  :thumb:

    Yep, much heavier according to my lugging-them-back-and-forth-to-the-shed test.

    I already love them SJH, but I still love the 16s.  I suppose it's like having a mistress.

    Joe, it's a good job you're built the way you are with those spindly white things.   ;)

    Think mine has a twin too, according to Abarth, when they put my number plate in the system, a different name and address come up! World's unluckiest car for sure  ;D

    Mine's the cooler, older twin cos it has the tetto in vetro fisso.

    Hmm, which is heavier - thickish glass or thinish steel?   (no motors or ting with the fisso)

    We'll need a weighbridge.
