Hi, I'm currently a proud owner of an Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.4 MA and since it's now done nearly 80000 miles I am looking to replace it.
I have a budget of upto £20k and want to purchase a used 695 as I believe they will hold their value better than the 595. The problem is I don't know which one to go for! There is a reasonable amount of choice as I could get a 2017 XSR for around £15k, 2018 Rivale for around £18k or a 2015 Biposto for £20k.
My first choice at the moment is the XSR, as I love the styling, but I'm not sure whether I want a lower powered 695. It would leave some spare cash for carbon fibre upgrades and maybe a remap, but I don't think it will hold its value as well as the other editions.
The Rivale I am a bit undecided on its styling, one half of me loves it but the other tells me it's a bit too old fashioned with the wooden trim. However, being the newest of the three it is likely to cost less in servicing and maintenance, as well as being quite a nice middle ground on power, with 185 horses on offer.
I love the idea of owning a Biposto, but I think I would regret it. Even though I am only planning to do around 5000 miles a year in it, I am conscious they will be very bone shaking miles and I don't really need a track focused car.
Owners of these cars please respond, I would appreciate everyones advice. I really am torn between all three!
