Wing mirror covers, how does that work then?
« on: May 31, 2012, 08:19:22 pm »
I noticed I've got a hole in one of the covers and it's bubbling underneath.  Are these simple to replace and how do I go about it?  Might change from black to white to match the other stickers I've got if it's relatively painless.

Put the mirror lens right down to the bottom and you will see the clips to take the lens out I use cycle tyres levers to release the clips hope this helps

Just changed ours over - see post #53 here - https://www.abarthforum.co.uk/members-cars/looks-like-weve-got-one/45/

The mirror glass have to come off to get to the clips to release the caps. The worst part is removing the mirror glass as it makes an almighty crack as it unclips. Easy enough to do, just be brave!  :thumb:

This might help too - https://www.abarthforum.co.uk/500-abarth/changing-wing-mirrors/msg92924/#msg92924
