Test drove the abarth 124 today
Exceeded all of my expectations by far

Shame about 170 bhp at the rear wheels though

First actual 1974 Blue I've seen, looks the same as the Fiat 124 blue I think.

worth the 30k?

Thats a hard question, different people have different priorities and some wouldn't contemplate spending 30k on a weekend car

I on the other hand would definitely pay it but the problem i face is I've been offered a great deal on a 4c 

4c has a usable boot in the rear as long as you don't mind things getting warm, and a touch wet (I could levy same complaint to the 5) , I drive an MX5 and considered a 4C reasonably luxurious and comfortable, on a practicality level they are quite similar IMO, bit more glove box space, better cup holder on the 5 but otherwise both quite impractical motors. Nothing in the 124 changes that.

As track motors, you won't be fitting spare track rubber in either, so quite useless but for a few laps without a support vehicle.

I've been tempted by one or two deals on a 4C as its not a bad deal for the Coupe, money off and bugger all APR but I need a few days behind the wheel of one to see if I could live with a TCT, my initial test drive says not but could be I just need to gel with it.

That blue one does look good and the dealer was always pretty good with my Fiats actually, I might have to pop up for a nosey, its only down the road.
