Active bonnet warning light + resprayed bonnet.
« on: February 24, 2020, 07:11:17 am »
I noticed recently the bonnet has been resprayed. I have also the active bonnet symbol on the speedo when first starting.
I guess this means I have bought an accident repaired car?
Does the active bonnet symbol mean there has been a front end smash?
Can this warning light just be reset or is there more involved?

There is no sign of any damage underneath the bonnet or on the actuators or plates that they push against. I suppose I could try a warranty claim.

At first start could this be a test of the light for the bonnet? Mine lights up briefly at start. Just a thought.
