Wheels
« on: August 18, 2016, 12:20:47 pm »
I'm 99% decided that Im going to be ordering a 124
The one thing that is putting me off is the wheels  :-\
From the pics they seem to be the same design as the corsa wheels on the 595 comp without the diamond cut edge which I think are horrid.

I'd like to get some wheels ready and waiting for when I get the car but at the moment I'm unable to find any specs for the wheels
The mx5 uses 4x100 pcd I'm assuming that the 124 will use the same hubs???

Anyone know any more?

Should be the same PCD, SHOULD be, lol......

Reason I say that is there is only one choice of wheel. Plenty of 500 wheels they could have used for optional extra's (Esseesse/Tributo/Formula) but all those are 4x98.

So educated guess says they are 4X100 the same as the MX-5, which is GREAT news by the way it really opens up to aftermarket wheels options :)

I also assumed the hubs would be 4x100 the same as the mx5
But when i realised the wheels were the same as the 595 comp it got me wondering  ???

They are different as far as I know. I haven't seen those wheels on the 595 comp?

They are the same style as the 595 comp wheels but they don't have the diamond cut edge.

Ah I see now, they are on the new series 4 595 Competizione, well spotted!

Considering the finish is different, I would still imagine they are drilled to the same PCD as the MX-5, but now I can see why you aren't 100% sure. Tough one until we find out for sure.

I am sure I read they still follow the same wheel pattern Fiat has always used being the 4x98. Only a guess though, can't remember where I read that at all.

Grande Punto & Evo were 4x100, same as the GM Corsa it shared the platform with.

The 695 Tributo were also 4x100 using the Grande's brakes.
