Ha ha, it is indeed the same guy and interestingly it's got all the right details added on to be a more recent sketch than the original concept he did which turned out to be the actual car.

This could be a clue to a more powerful version coming next year... or it could just be another sketch of the rally car..... either way, I need that in my life, lol.

I put my deposit down about a month ago an the Abarth. Heard from the dealer this week that production was on schedule and expect delivery into Australia mid-late next month.

Get a shot of a manual and your mind will be changed quickly. All the reviews have pointed out how much better the car is in manual form compared to some of the auto test cars Abarth sent out. Porthos, I see that in the photo. Essentially the new 124 with what looks like larger wheel arches, a more aggressive front bumper. Obviously the hard top is added (as we suspected) and a big bloody wing on it. I get the feeling this is going to end up a Biposto type 124 and might be fairly expensive. Still excited even if I may not be able to afford one!

I like that description - they should put that in the brochures! I would have got that configuration too but my wife already has a black and white Abarth 500 and I'm not ready to be one of those 'matching tracksuit' couples just yet.

Mine is grey/black with all the bits and bobs. All we need now is a red one and a blue on and we'll the set on here in October.
