It isn't quicker though according to the numbers. They need more power than 170 bhp and until that happens I am thrilled to hold onto my 180 competizione until they release the proper hot 124 and not the standard custom type model. Here is hoping they follow in the footsteps of the 500 and do the base model with 170, a turismo type with 190 and a competizione/esseesse type range topper with 210 haha!

170bhp certainly doesn't impress me though and I fully expect a more powerful version to come alongside it on the 1st of March, I hope anyway.

    I doubt theyl be just 1 engine version.

    the 500s and puntos have gone from 13,160,170,180and 190 bhp over the years so I im sure theyl be more powerful ones out there espesh if abarth want to be more "extreme"

    Mazda have just released a 'Recaro' version of the MX5.

    Perhaps they are turning up the wick just before Fiat 124s' entrance :thumb:

    Just... 24k for something that's still slow and doesn't look particularly nice. I have a good idea of what the 124 is going to look like now and wow, it will look the part.
