Peasant spec 124 sat nav activation?

I have just put a deposit on an Auto 124. I wanted auto for sitting in traffic reasons as it's my daily drive. It has red leather seats but no Bose, parking sensors or sat nav.
Is the sat nav as simple as buying the sim from eBay for £23 and it will activate? I notice it had the  Nav button on the console.
Is the standard stereo any better than the 595 standard stereo?

    I bought my SD card from eBay but had to return the first one I bought because it did not work.  Second one was fine but I checked with my vendor and he is not selling them any more.  I think most people buying these on eBay have been happy with their purchase.  As to whether it works in your car I can't really help as your model is different from mine (I have the Bose etc).  Do you have the full sized screen?  Worth a punt anyway as you can always return it.

    Can't help with the stereo.

    I have the 7" screen I believe so hopefully I will be ok. Like you say you can always return via eBay.

    Sim Card bought off Ebay for £23 did indeed work and update via a PC. Very impressed.

    I have the official card (ex demo and came with it) - I did joke with the dealer and asked what the difference between the £400 and the £30 ones are - he said basically the only difference is that sometimes with the copies you can't subscribe to traffic updates (which I do as it's pretty useful).

    Can confirm I got the same answer from main dealer. They are correct  :thumb:
