Re Prospective new owner
« on: January 19, 2021, 03:42:27 pm »
Hi looking to purchase one of these in the very near future.
Anyone know this car BC68 XFO.
Car is on sale on the autotrader as all the options I want. Shows a picture under the bonnet and it seems to have a BMC air intake. Others I have looked at don’t have this. I am just worried in case it might have been modified and would then not be covered under the manufacturers warranty.
Any assistance much appreciated as I start the journey into purchasing one these cars.
Many thanks.
Ps I would put a link on to the advert if I knew what I was doing ........

Well done, I'm certain you'll have a smile on your face from the off.

What spec did you settle for in the end?

    Hi
Found a 2019 one in white with 8,000 miles on. No heritage so call is all white. Both PDI and first service done by the same Abarth dealer, car will be due another service in April this year. I will book that into a local official Abarth dealer.
Car is an automatic with Bose and visibility pack and has the two cup holders. Car has all its handbooks, towing eye, locking wheel nut and tyre inflation kit.

I have ordered a set of the 17x7 ET 37 Oz racing Ulteggra wheels and a new set of TPMS sensors.Hopefully the wheels will be delivered on Monday. I am just deciding on which make and styles of tyres to fit on these wheels and will them get them on the car. Although the wife is already asking what’s wrong with the wheels that are already on the car.

All being well and weather permitting car will be delivered to me on Thursday this week.

    Sounds great. Enjoy!

Sticking with the stock wheels myself, but also trying to decide what tyres to go with. Let us know what you decide to fit and what factors influenced your decision. I'd be interested to know.

Sounds like you know your stuff John and your research has paid off. Consider fitting or having fitted a reversing camera. This is discussed on other threads and is maybe for something post lockdown. Its even useful with the visibility pack which I have. But most of all welcome and enjoy.
