Hello. Could someone clarify - if you order satellite navigation for a uk 124 spider, you still have to just around for an SD card? Or is this something which is needed to add functionality to a non-sat Mac spec?
Many thanks

If you go to the nav screen you just get a simple compass.
You need to buy an sd card with the maps on as the car does not come with it.
It’s a dealer option for which you are charged around £300.
You can find them on eBay for a lot less though.
Hope this clarifies it for you.

Ok. Got my free SD card and does pretty much what you would expect. Not used all the functionality yet but come the warmer weather then it will be used with a vengeance.
To all those people struggling to get the free card I would say keep persevering. My dealer also knew nothing about it until Abarth Customer Services got in touch with them directly and sent them the bulletin and claim paperwork.
Personally, I prefer to have the genuine card from the dealer rather than risking an EBay special.
Good luck and Merry Xmas  :thumb:

I'll second that and thanks to themro for highlighting it in the first place. At first my dealer said my car did not qualify, but Abarth came up trumps and the card is on its way.
The promotion was featured on the Abarth website and was for stock cars sold between Oct-Dec, but seems some dealers were unaware.

A little update on this, I wanted to check my (cheap eBay) sd card was up to date.
So I go to the website and download a bit of software to my laptop, plug in the sd card and sure enough there it is with the chassis number.
Downloaded all updates, installed them (getting on an hour) for free and also gave me something like a years worth of free updates.

Ordered a card off EBAY not one of the sellers recommended on this thread. Not a good experience promised to send within 3/4 days and when i asked about delivery i noticed he was sending me a completely wrong card even though it was clear from the listing it should be a 124.

    Got a refund from EBAY
