What to check before warranty expires?
« on: April 12, 2021, 08:15:12 pm »
Hi all
We have bought an Abarth Spider that has a few months of the manufacturer’s warranty remaining and would appreciate any advice on what we should be looking for to get fixed now?

Is the exhaust covered? The valve is stuck in the open position

Any other areas that are known weak spots?

Look forward to your replies

As you say check the Monza exhaust as it should be changed if the valve is stuck.  Drivers seat bolster (RHS) is prone to wear as you get in and out of the car.  These are the two issues I have had so far in 8000 miles.

As a new owner, how do I know if the exhaust valve is stuck open!!  It's not the quietest I've ever owned but at what point should the valve open as there's no discernible difference at start up to pushing on?  Car's on 9000 miles
