500 exhaust on APE?
« on: May 26, 2014, 08:18:17 pm »
Collecting my abarth in the next day or so and was just wondering if its possible to have the 500 exhaust on the APE? Think there's a better noise from them rather than the APE or would the SS exhaust be a better choice.

Love twin exit exhausts. Seen this on the forum before and im a fan.

The esseesse exhaust sounds amazing and personally I think the multiair sounds better than the TJet.

Is there a noticeable difference between the standard and ss exhaust?

Never had a standard exhaust but the esseesse one sounds epic. Really deep with plenty of bass and pops loads too. Although if you have a standard car without the 180 remap or B&M filter I wouldn't know how it would sound.

The filter and a tmc box are things I am definitely looking into as well as a few others just need to decide what to do really!

Wish the monza would fit or similar, they sound lovely and the pops are loud!

Esseesse exhaust sounds so much nicer than the stock exhaust.

It's not chavvy but nice and deep with a slight burble :thumb:

Yeah definitely! Would love one, seems there are far more parts for the 500s! Spoke to Darren from tmc he said it wouldn't fit unfortunately :(

May have to get one of those then when I get my current car sold!

The esseesse exhaust is probably similar to the monza anyway. I mean your never going to get the same kind of sound anyway as the engines are completely different.

I'm almost positive that if the rear baffles accidentally fell out of the SS exhaust it would sound like a Monza....

I think the esseesse exhaust is loud enough, just with the right amount of bass before becoming overwhelming. I had a mate with a Scooby and as most owners went with a huge exhaust system. It sounded so loud and during any sort of long drive it was just too much. You couldnt hear anything over the sound of that flat four.
