Any feedback would help
« on: December 18, 2014, 01:22:05 pm »
Am i right in saying the differences between the supersport and esseesse are:

supersport 180hp upgrade, badges, esseesse exhaust, bmc filter and do they have the koni kit (esseesse springs (are they lower than standard??) and shocks)?

esseesse 180hp, exhaust, filter with bmc on box, 18" wheels, ventilated brakes, koni kit including shocks and springs?

    Differences are:

    Wheels
      Esseesse: 18"
Supersport: 17" Claw or 17" optional

    Brakes
      Esseesse: Floating discs, HP pads
      Supersport: Vented discs, standard pads

    Suspension
Esseesse: Brembo springs.  If "Esseesse Koni" then will have Koni shocks.  There were two kits, one with and one without
      Supersport: Standard springs.  Standard shocks.

The map, exhaust, induction are all the same.

When I say "Standard" above I mean identical to the 165 EVO :thumb:

Noticeably! I think the official line on is 20mm for the springs.

I parked my Assetto Koni'd Supersport (Koni shocks, Esseesse springs) next to a standard Supersport at an event in September and everyone commented how low it looked..  Even Phil, one of the salesmen at my local Abarth dealership was surprised.

I think the drop is larger when combined with the Koni shocks, as the spring rest of the Koni kit I had was lower on the shock body than the standard shock.

There are some mighty good deals around at the moment..  Best bet is to ring around your local dealers to see if they've got one sitting in their stock room somewhere :thumb:

Someone on here did just that recently, got the Assetto Koni kit (Koni FSD and Brembo springs) for £400 and picked up a set of optional wheels with new Bridgestone tyres for £250 at the same time! :o

Yes, sorry, Abarth dealerships..  It's worth ringing around, most will be more interested to do business if you can collect but some will ship..

I think I paid £20 to ship my Supersport suspension :)

Yeah, that's not an Esseesse kit - well not a complete one anyway as it's missing the exhaust and BMC filter..

I think it's actually an Assetto Corse kit, which for the EVO is uber rare 8)

That aside there's not a lot I could do as they wouldn't take a credit card otherwise I'd be breaking it now ;)

Esseesse kit for the super sport as that already had the exhaust and bmc however a proper esseesse had the fsd's too.
    Still cheap tho.
Get it on paypal with the credit card linked to it ;-)
