Full ECU tuning for Multiair?
« on: August 25, 2012, 03:03:19 am »
Hi gents.  im a big fat American. I have a 2013 Abarth on order. As you may know we get the 1.4 Multiair in our 500 Abarth dirived from the APE. (Great Call I think on that move!)

right now, in the USA 500 Abarth the Magneti Marelli Back box makes 209 Hp, with NO OTHER MODS.
However This is still not a "REAL" Tune.

The Multiair ecu fully controls the intake valves. So theoretically with full c ontrol this means you can create in real time any intake cam profile-duration.

It idea sounds amazing, but I have not seen anyone with full ecu control yet.

Anyone have any info on multiair tuning?

The North American setup is about 99% Identical to the Euro APE as this MM and TMC backbox are working great on the American Abarths..

Thanks for all your help,
