Historically, APEs and rolling roads don't go together.

They run fine on the rolling road, you run them on the dyno for a minute or so with computers complaining then they all disable, you can them flick it in sport and run at your leisure I have run loads of times.

It doesn't matter the mode, when you put it on the rollers it will complain, it won't accelerate, it'll be generally unhappy due to computers seeing front wheels move without rear, computers will give up after something like a minute assuming a fault and then 6 or 7 safety systems will disable throwing up warnings, now it will run.

Yes, when you drive on a normal road again the computers will be happy and all warnng lights will go away, that has been my experience.

When I have my BMW M5 dyno'd, I have to pull the 2 fuses for the traction control and the ABS otherwise the computers put the car in limp mode.

Its because you cannot completely turn of these systems and I expect the APE needs something similar before it will run full power on the rollers.
