LED Daylight Running Lights

I've changed to LED Daylight Running Lights but on the drivers side, 2 of the lights keep flashing, when the car is locked and engine off.

Is this a MOT failure & can the DRL dash error be turned off via a garage software when hooked up to the car.

    I may be wrong. But all the posts I have seen on LED/DRLs are unable to get them to work with the Canbus (whatever that is... Anyone?).

    Some sites are selling them as "compatible" - but it seems they're not. You may end up taking them off....

    Maybe you can answer this (as I don't get it- not down wiv da kidz maybe?), why are some obsessed with changes the lights to LED?

    The Canbus system basically checks the voltage on every bulb and if low indicates a warning because it thinks the bulb has blown. With LED style bulbs they have a low power draw so the system always thinks the bulb is faulty. Im sure I read somewhere that this wasnt a problem on the Evo models just the Grande.

    Here's part 1 of the DRL bulb change, If the LED's i've bought don't work i'll stick with these as they are white / bright enough & will pass the MOT.
