Will do unfortunately ol won't until 2014 when I can get a run in the summer down the strip.

Update on Esseesse - new stickers for the windows ordered. Need some sabelts next, think I will have to go to TMC Motorsport to buy any.

What else can I do to lighten, also debating on a anti lag system would be good as the boost doesn't spoil till about 2800rpm would be nice at the 1500 mark but creating a manifold/throttle bodie to bypass the butterfly valve would be a task, plus the need bypass valve adjust/dialing which would be involved as she's a road car

I've had 6.2 0-60 times just need to get her on the strip with some toyo r888 I would think I could get into the 5's 0-60 and maybe a 12-13sec run 1/4 mile

Not doubting you or anything, but I would seriously be impressed if you see 12s or even 13s quarter mile runs in an APE which is anything but seriously tuned. Stage 2 Corsa VXRs @ 220bhp don't even dip under 14s.

Nice torque figures from having the TMC box on 9, bet the boost kicks in nice and hard. Also Sabelts are well worth the investment, the seats hug you nicely if you're of an average build. Downside is the lumbar support is pretty much non-existant :thumb:

Even a Z4M Roadster runs high 12s/low 13s - I don't think a remapped APE would get anywhere near. That's just my opinion though

    For comparison:
... similar spec'd Ibiza Cupra and Toyo R888s but with DSG gearbox.

I stand by high 13s :thumb:

I'm just putting some figures out their from grip/power perspective! I would maybe agree 13's I would be happy anything under 14's just think due to racing a vxr (nurb) and beating with miles to spare I'm going for as close to 13 as possible

    Their non adjustable I'm afraid.
However if you have the abarth esseesse koni shocks their increadable. Had mine on track on Sunday and totally obliterated Hondas and was giving a fully stripped out subaru wrx a run. Managed to catch him towards the end of our final session very happy. Some mods plus tips&tricks I've found which may be of intresst soon!

;) bypass the traction control if your on two wheel drive by removing the fuse. However I was on a 4x4 hi spec dyno which was at a Bosch centre in Norwich.
My figures were with setting 7 on my tmc control box, however I put to 9 and had a 209.8bhp at 322ftlb of tourqe which is quite impressive. I've had 6.2 0-60 times just need to get her on the strip with some toyo r888 I would think I could get into the 5's 0-60 and maybe a 12-13sec run 1/4 mile

    Hi,

I have a Punto Scorpione and I tried dyno'ing it on a two wheel dyno. No luck as TC kepts kicking in.

I owned a Abarth 500 and then dyno owner just drove it on the dyno for a while and all the error messages popped up and it could be dyno'ed.

Should I do the same with the Punto? And if I have to pull a fuse to allow it to be dyno'ed which fuse would that be?

Love your car by the way  ;D

You don't have to pull a fuse just run it on a Dyno for a minute or so untill all systems fail then it will run fine.

You do not have to pull the fuse. Just run the car and it'll be all WAA WAA and then you can go :D

Any dyno tec worth going to will know exactly how to make your car work. The APE isn't the only front wheel drive car in the world! :P

Have you had yours tested on the dyno, just thought having 4 wheel speed sensors it kicks up a fault causing traction control to come on!?

Mine was done on 4 wheel system anyway so wasn't a issue.

    Few new parts fitted:
Scara73 exhaust rear section non silenced
    AEM custom intake system
    Powerflex engine mount
Front carbon diffuser in build ATM but have a mock up
