I put on a seperate post recently about the autosearch not working properly on my radio. It would only select about 3 stations. Have got round this to some extent by using the manual search facility and storing the stations I most often listen to.Problem is that the reception on some of the stations is not that good. The Evo comes with a stubby roof aerial, whereas the Grande Punto I think had a longer aerial. Has anybody had similar reception problems and is replacing the stubby with the longer aerial a good idea ? Partsworld sell both for about £12.99 each, so swapping to a longer aerial won't cost much - if it's worth doing.

I seem to remember a previous query like this. I think unscrewing the aerial, making sure the threads were absolutely clean and then 'nipping' it up a bit tighter did the trick. Anyhow, hope you sort it!
