hi all i was on my way to work when i herd a beep and it came up on the screen check engine can anyone help?????

    Turn engine off on, is it still there?
    If it is, discconect battery, is it still there, if it is.

    Just to add, if it does clear i would ring the dealer anyway, get it checked out.

    Bet you were running a TMC. Thing is a joke and just blows manifold pressure sensors. Mine has gone for the 4th time now, and i am on my second TMC box. Fed up with the issues and am getting rid of the APE.

    Bit harsh on the APE if the TMC is causing issue, perhaps esseesse it hand get same power reliably?

    Agreed, harsh yes but sometimes you just lose the faith. Have had the APE over two years now and had big plans for it but reliability issues have killed my enthusiasm. Cracking car and puts the biggest smile on my face when it works.

    Could never justify the cost of the esseesse route and it would have been a waste of money given my plans for the car.

    I was running a tmc box on my ape from 500 miles to when i got rid of it at 18k and only have engine check light come on twice.

    If you disconnect battary when connecting tmc box then leave it off for about 5-10min then reconnect it and rev to 2.5k in nutral it shpould not bring light on

    Also one of my boxes was running a higher boost then it should and didnt blow sensor just ecu ones or twice thought something was wrong because of high boost
