Panel filter or induction filter?
« on: September 11, 2012, 09:52:20 pm »
Hi,

Was looking at buying the bmc panel filter for my car but saw a video of the tmc cone filter on YouTube was wondering if anyone had this installed? And which one is better to go for?

Thanks in advance :thumb:

If you have a look on the Supersprint website, they do an induction hose upon which you can out your own open filter on. I would use bmc twin cone !! The pipe redirects all induction pipe work an puts the filter into the inner wing so to collect nicer colder fresh air. The eye talians are loving it apparently ;-)

I have an bmc panel filter installed, I'm happy with the sound it creates for being 1/2 the size of the standard air filter.

I may buy the Induction kit later this year but it's around the £220 mark unless someone knows any companies which sell it for cheaper.

What noise difference does the panel filter give compared to the original?
