I contacted angel tuning and they can remap my Abarth from 163bhp to 180bhp? I was hoping for better results than that? Can anyone help?

A remap cant provide miracles. Before you get the remap get a sports exhaust,performance air filter,better intercooler and turbo actuator. You might get 200 bhp with a remap then or a bit more.

If you are after more than that its going to cost a lot of money. So either save up or get another car.

Yes they all have the Garrett GT1446. Most reports ive heard say its good for 250 bhp but some may disagree.

I would advise looking locally for a custom stainless steel exhaust fitter. It would probably cost the same,or maybe even less than buying an exhaust from Abarth. Then get either a better panel filter like one from BMC or a full cone and a remap should give 200 bhp.

So you don't need all the extras that you listed then

The difference between the Supersport and a regular car is the sports exhaust,BMC panel filter and Abarth remap. So it has 180 bhp and ive been told (so no guarantees) that with a TMC box or remap I can expect about 200 bhp.

The point behind listing all the other stuff is that a remap is the last thing you should get done. Because if you add a major part afterwards you would need to get the car remapped again to take full advantage of it. But if 200 bhp is enough for you,then get a sports exhaust,a performance filter and then the remap.

How much are angel tuning charging for the remap? and atleast youll have the power of an esseesse and supersport, maybe put a tmc box on after. according to tmc it will get you 207bhp on an esseesse and supersport, 203 on normal evo

It wouldn't make sense to get a proper remap and a TMC box - they'd both do similar things; it doesn't concatenate.

A proper custom/live remap will always be better than a tuning box or a basic map applied by someone with a laptop.

This should be done on a rolling road with a wideband connected up to ensure the tune is clean and safe.

Unfortunately a lot of places (Angel being one) apply these maps from laptops without a rolling road.  Now Angel are good in the respect that they've made their own stock maps, rather than randomly buying them but still - you're always better going custom.

They road test, yes - but this is literally a 5 minute drive with no diagnostic devices connected up..  It's not quite the same as a custom map.

As for who - not a clue.  I think Angel can do one if you go to their HQ, I would highly recommend it if you've got more than just an intake or exhaust.
