Remap information.
« on: February 16, 2015, 07:58:28 pm »
Looking into the possibility of having my Supersport remapped. I had my Mito 135 done at Monza Sports tuning, remembering being so impressed with the added cruise-ability of the car. The 25hp gain in dynamic mode was good but in was the extra 30 Ib/ft of torque that impressed most, its only modest but the power delivery felt so much more linear, coupled with the excellent service from MST, has got me thinking about taking my abarth back there. Has anyone just had a remap done to theirs?

If memory serves me right, Keith is the service manager and Bryn is the person who does the mapping etc. Really nice friendly people, proper enthusiasts. Bryn took me out in the Mito Carbonio, their version of a GTA which featured in Auto Italia. They've always got some projects going on, hopefully they'll have a good one when you visit. Good luck with it, let me know how it goes.  :)

There is already a tuning box... gave me a 17 bhp increase which isn't too shabby, I think I may have had on a too high of setting too and it was over-boosting so the results could be even better now I have tuned it down to setting 7  :thumb:

Keith is indeed the Service Manager.  Kevin is the Master Technician and Bryn is the owner.

I've never actually put much thought into using them for remapping, I prefer to get my cars done on a rolling road, but we'll see what they say on Friday :thumb:
