Replacing standard APE brake pads
« on: March 14, 2014, 09:04:21 pm »

I've bought a set of racing brake pads which i'm going to try & fit tomorrow, just want to know if the brake pads are the same as a normal car where you swap them over, or do they need anything extra to work with the Brembo calipers.

you need to be brave to punch out the securing pins, concave headed punch will help, you don.t want to chip the red paint :thumb:

Remember racing brake pads are designed to operate at different temperatures than standard road pads. I would make sure they are suitable for road use before you end up going straight through a corner.
