TMC Boxes - Any Fit?
« on: August 20, 2014, 05:42:24 pm »
Thinking of getting a TMC tuning box, few for sale on classifieds but they are for 500's does this matter or am I looking for an evo one? Cheers

Daron once told me that any T-jet or Multiair box would work, so it should do...

That said he did say that sometimes they need to be reprogrammed if there are issues.

Yep, my box was one of the original three plug non-adjusting boxes.

It was used on a 500 before I fitted it to my AGP SS and then was sold on to a guy with a Mito QV

Hopefully someone who has bought the newer 2 plug one from a 500 owner can let me know for definite before! But if the older one was fine off a 500 hopefully the newer one will be the same

Sweet cheers buddy! That's the one I want obv! Well I'll be coming down the road for you to help me fit it haha! YEAH!! And you know what, it was a kick in the teeth seeing it all the time since I love to bloody close haha! I commented on another thread about one of mine being 'refurbed' but it wasn't diamond cut so it's now fuckered >:(  talking as we speak don't worry ;) when you sell I'll take the exhaust haha. Does it have a 200 cell? Or what's the deal with your exhaust man, love the pops and bangs!

Oh and it's sitting on coil overs too, brembo drilled disc new braided cables not sure bout the cat but it's either turbo back or cat back titanium never rusting note is epic, get that box bought the only pain is the third sensor as you need to remove coolant tank and boost pipe to get at the rpm sensor crazy but worth it ;-) the guy is also selling an induction kit too :-) are you cruising this Monday?

As I was talking to him it sold on eBay fs must have been on buy it now! Did get a bmc filter he was selling as I couldn't decide between filter or an induction just yet not really sure which is best, there's always controversy! Now I'm on the hint for a new box! Where's the cruise going man? It ccc?
