2nd UK Scorpione owner!

I have secured the second Scorpione to arrive on UK shores!  :)

The car is still to be registered, i wasnt allowed to drive it for obvious reasons but i did sit in and start it up- lovely exhaust note and a cheeky backfire when revved  ;)

Cant wait to pick it up and will hopefully get it to the Ace Cafe in the near future and as many events as possible.

Pictures will follow in due course.

Hopefully see some of you soon with the stealthy rare beast!

    Hopefully within the next couple of weeks. Its a strange registration process again whereby the car has to be registered in Italy before coming into the UK, which actually means the car is technically second hand when it is re-registered over here!

    If both these Scorpiones come to a meet it will be the fiirst time we have had two identical cars in the same place, that will make them the most common Abarth :whistle:

    Shock horror!! I never thought of that lol. I think it unlikely but what a treat for other Italian car/ Abarth fans if it were to happen!

    As per the 695 i believe.. Once its registered over here can be insured as normal.

    Getting it registered in the uk is abit awkward but not too bad, with mine i had to insure it on the vin number  first then the dealer took my paperwork to the dvla to register so we could tax it and get the number plate.


    Are you getting yours from Thames dealer then?

    Yes indeed I am. The Scorpione doesn't have xenons by any chance does it? I can't find a full specification on the car..

    no Xenons, they'd have had to design a washing system for just one run of cars :thumbd:
