Hi all

My first post here.

Have been trawling the net for information on the Abarth Punto Evo as I think it looks  :)

Saw one last night outside Glyn Hopkin in Romford (in grey with red stripe, sabelt seats, auto climate).

Strangely, it did not seem to have the leather cover over the instrument binnacle. Thought it would be standard?

It was late so could not ask anyone.

Also, have found this (cannot post links) so go to eurocarblog dot com and look for "Abarth Punto Evo and 500C live pics" - pic is number 12 out of 15. Interestingly, it shows the alloys in 18 inch - 215/40 x 18.

Will this be an upgrade possibility? Maybe just for the Italian market?

Thanks

Andrew

The binacle cover in leather is standard, all the ones at Silverstone have it. Not sure why you'd want to swap the standard wheels because they do look awesome but the 18's are likely to be the SS wheels as far as I have been made aware the alternative wheels that you can order in the UK are the same as the current alternative ones.

    Thanks Chris for the answer.

The standard wheels look awesome I agree. The picture shows the exact same design "scorpion" alloys but in 18 inch (more awesomeness ;D). They fill the arches a little better it would seem ...

The ride may be a bit more "filling loosening" though.

Maybe I need to look again at the car in Romford. Maybe it was the light ...

Here are the wheels I am talking about - check the tyre size ...

It was an Abarth preview day in Italy.

If they make those the SS wheels there would be a number of happy campers, don't honestly know though

We saw the one with the 18" wheels at Ballocco and the concenus was that it was probably a pre-production car.

The other wheel is the 17" black alloy the was available on the AGP.
The dash binnacle is covered with leather if you have leather seats.
