Air vent assembly
« on: October 21, 2014, 08:02:05 pm »
Hi ,

I am hoping someone can help me, I noticed one of my centre air vents the ones for the air con loose inside and decided while driving to have a go Fixing it, no doubt this ended badly and now I have managed to pull both centre vent out,

Anyone have any ideas how to if please?

I have a look on google but nothing concrete, someone mentioned I had to pull my centre console out?

Thank you,

    Okay for anyone interested,

Easiest way to do this is open the flap next to your tom tom holder unscrew the torex(star) screw, get a flathead screwdriver mask with tape and then go around the whole console (where the console koine the actual dashboard) you will see some metal clips, 6 in total unclip those, read place to be careful but I just made my way all the way round and did this with ease and remove the whole console.

After this i just undid all the plastic clip, I was reckless and snapped a few but be careful an just lift it up ad down carefully with your screwdriver and they will slot out.

Once you have separated the vent from the console you can slot the vents in(really easy), the vent slider should be the 3rd slat down on both slides(so you know which side is correct).

    Hope that helps,

    Dan
