When under breaking ... flashing hazards ...Help/advice
« on: April 26, 2015, 09:29:00 am »
Hi I have an ape and when I'm heavily applying the brakes the hazards come on flashing. Does anyone know how to turn them off?

    You can't, it's a safety feature.

It is directly linked to the ABS system and puts the hazards on at the point of lock up. Next time it happens you will notice the pedal feels funny as the ABS cuts in.

Its to warn any people behind you that you are heavily braking. A safety feature, quite a good one I think  :)
