Post by: lloyd on November 02, 2010, 09:09:20 am
the new Auto Italia has a comparison test between an APE and a MITO, you ape owners might not agree with all the conclusions ;D

47 (old git ) pick up APE on Friday... Trading in my 1 year old MiTo 155  Veloce. I test drove the Cloverleaf Mito, much prefered the Abarth. On top of that fact  the Scorpion will be a lot more exclusive, and head turning.

T'is a joke.  Although I haven't read the article, Auto Italia magazine apparently reckon the Evo is for people under 30.

So, when you collect your Evo on Friday, you will automatically become 27, instead of 47.

Cheers Alex.. I wish.. Quite a few reviews said Abarth were aiming at the 18-30 something, although i dont believe it would be the official line. I've lent my company car to my dad so intend to us the Evo as much as possible.

No Jarmin i am from the yorkshire branch of the club ;D
I am the 5k side of 3k5k, Bev 3k (are you confused yet) has a a500, so we are now a Two scorpion family.
Bought the car from petch in York, very good dealership by the way. Its white with red stripe mirror kit, Skydome, climate control.
They gave me the best deal at £16,500, nobody esle could beat it. I fell in love with it at the silverstone classic, and i now have one to replace my ageing vw jetta. Was really inpressed with it when i test drove it  Jonney at Petch let me have the car for a whole morning, so i got a real test drive. How many are there of us now?.

I can now loiter in the Evo section aswell :thumb:

Might just get a cheap van to get me to work through the winter :thumb:, and take the Evo on those dry crisp cold winter days,
skydome open the cold air blowing through my greying locks, the low sun glistening on the bonnet, you know the mornings i mean.
I have a little softspot for the mito by the way, i think its those quirky looks. ;D

That was the other car i could have had Loyd, leather and climate contro. I looked at every colour option but was always going to be white. I lost the first one that was showing on the system, we think that was Darons car Jonney found me another one and it had the stripe kit so i got that thrown in for free aswell. its coming with the agp wheels, Jonney said he will swop to the standard wheels if i want, think i will, what do you think.
Sunday sounds good, weather dependent. :thumb: Can we get the cars right up to the house havnt been to cusworth for a long time.
If not i may ring them posing as a top photographer from a top forum. :thumb:

jonny was talking about wheel swaps, i'd have the standard ones rather than the black

but really i'd aim for the white

haven't been to cusworth in 25 years, i guess we need to say its a fashion shoot in the name of ethnic diversity and social inclusion and its interface with health and safety..(remember. the council own it) ;D
