Title: Misfiring
Post by: AledS on April 03, 2018, 07:52:20 pm
Hi I recently encountered a problem where my engine misfires, apparently in the fourth cylinder. It went in to the garage, and they replaced the valves and they thought the problem was the engine block leaking pressure. They replaced the middle block and thought it was fixed, since then I took it back and noticed the problem is 90% fixed however it runs fine until I put my foot to the floor and then it misfires and makes a strange noise coming from the exhaust. I’m wondering is this is a problem that someone has encountered before and may be able to help me?

Could this be a MultiAir problem?

Have you been back to an Abarth dealer for a diagnostic check?

I did a diagnostic test myself and it came up with something to do with the pressure in the engine which was the problem that the garage thought they fixed in the first place.

Maybe a visit to connect to Abarth 'Examiner' would clarify your situation?
