I'm still debating upgrading to the ape from my agp ss. But hearing all your comments is putting me off if I'm honest  :'(
If you're worried, do what I did - buy a demonstrator.  Any glitches should have shown themselves and I got a shedful of optionals for less than nothing!  ;)

That sounds like a good plan Patrick. How do you find the evo? Is it a good drive? As good as the agp ss? I havnt driven one yet so I don't really know??

The Evo is an excellent drive as long as you avoid the 'Normal' setting.  No idea about the AGP SS as I haven't driven one.  It's almost as much fun as my Alfa 75 V6, but in a different way.  I have no idea about its behaviour on the track, and I don't really intend finding out.  It is as quick as my previous Audis (2.0T engines like the Golf GTI) but does occasionally get bogged down with low rev turbo lag, like my Punto GTs in the 1990s.  It is a relaxed cruiser, and is the tasteful side of cool, so that I haven't yet found anyone who dislikes it, from the drongos on the street to the most conservative of my parishioners.  It does seem to take a long time to loosen up, and I don't expect to have the best of it for a few thousand miles yet (I'm at nearly 5000).  It gives me mid-30s to the gallon irrespective of whether in the town or on a run.

Oh, and it's well put together...

Good appraisal of the EVO patrick. Mine has been bullet proof in just over 11k and has stayed rattle free. With regard to the engine still feeling tight, i would say
10k is when i really started to notice a difference. I am running a TMC box on mine this chops out any lag you may get and with around 200bhp of power, its quick ;D.
Cant make my mind up to change the suspension or not, like Patrick says its a nice relaxed cruiser and soaks up the bumps, so i dont want to make it to stiff. I took an EVO SS out for a quick spin the other week, i was impressed with the Koni,s so that may be an option.
Would i buy another one, absolutely, just hope Abarth dont bring out the new EVO to soon. ;D

I hope everything gets sorted the first time!

On the plus side, at least you got a little Panda to use - they refuse to give me a car when mine goes in as their insurance won't cover anyone under 25 - apparently!!

Carmen has got to go back in again, which I am dreadding! Have a list of 5 or 6 things that need to be done before she's two in September..

3rd time she back to one problem and 2nd for the others.

I still disagree that I have to pay £15 a day to have the replacement car.

Speak to Abarth UK matie and kick up a fuss.. if nothing else they may cover the cost.

They certainly did with me when I needed to do 300 odd mines in a courtesy car...

oh, and when everything is sorted ask for some compensation vouchers ;)

    Getting somewhere now.

Had the intermitted fault again today with the box so want start to dealer and the head tec took car straight out. So they have now seen the problem with 4th and also the problem with 2nd popping out ive not had in ages (forgot about it really and learn to live with it) desided to do it while tech driving it. Booked in next week to have the box out.

The loud blow off, down on power and weird sounding exhaust I have put down to dodge fuel as haven't used that shell station in while and not had the problem.

Also all the small problem I have been promised will be sorted while in for the box

Slowly getting the car sorted all the list is covered under warranty bar one thing.

Not going to go into details due to complicated reasons but looks like I'm not going to be driving it for a very long time.

One thread, one car does not sum up the lot, mine is very good indeed and it certainly gets a very hard work out, plenty of other owners happy if you read the posts.
