Do you often drive enthusiastically in gravel? That could explain it =/

YES! The rear arches on my APE are very stone chipped, especially the left one. There is a small patch of loose gravel near where I live but don't go that way very often and not particularly fast. I guess it's just a problem of  a combination of wide tyres and arch extensions. I hope someone comes up with a solution, maybe some protectors (howabout carbon ones?). I dont really want to have to respray them every few months.

People will find this is common

I worked for bmw and some models suffered the same issue, BMW realised the issue and paid to paint the rear arches and put a clear plastic film on them to protect but really the only way is to fit front mud flaps

I've just fitted these Mini Mud flaps from Carbon Mods. Hope they will cure the problem. I think they look pretty cool!
