If you're not discussing Top Gear's test of the new Punto Evo, please take it elsewhere.  Thank-you.

It's not just Abarth that are dear. Look at all the other brands too. You can pay £30,000 for a new Citroen these days! The A500 has no trouble shifting in huge quantities compared to the old AGP, not sure why everyone finds it so much more appealing, but they're obviously not put off by the premium.

Probably due to Top Gear giving it such a good review on the show. They can make or break a care with just one review.

At the moment the RenaultSport models are some of the best Hot Hatchs about as the old firms like Ford and Vauxhall have seemed to forgoten how to make a sporty compact car, even Citroen and Pug have seems to also forgot how to cook up a decent Hot Hatch, thing is there are alot of 'Warm' Hot Hatches about at the moment and as long as the Abarth is better than them AND not marketed as a blow for blow rival to the Cilo RS200 then I think the Evo will be alright.

The Polo and the Ibiza with their clever turbo/supercharged engines def have the power, around the 180 mark, but nearly every review sees them as cold and detached drives, the Mini's still for estate agents and hair dressers imo even tho its a cracking car, its the people that drive em that really give it the image problem.
