Indicators having a mind of their own
« on: July 13, 2012, 01:12:19 pm »
Am I the only one who finds the indicators sometimes flick from left to right a little too easy?

I am sure people behind me think there is a lunatic driving in front as I flick from left to right indicators and then back several times before I can get them to cancel.

flicking is the problem, it goes over centre and indicates the other way, you get used to a more gentle movement that just places the lever back in the middle :thumb:

As Lloyd said. This bugged me so much at the start, but after a month or two you start to compensate with slower touches or sometimes I find myself catching it as it flicks back up so it doesn't indicate the opposite way.

I still get caught out if I'm in a rush though. :-[

This only happens when you want to indicate briefly (3 flash indicate) when you hit the indicator stalk for half a second, supposingly easier for when you want to change lanes, saves you from cancelling yourself!

A little annoying at times but you do get used to it after a while!  ;D
