Not too bad had this been the quote, except this is how much extra Adrian Flux want on top of my renewal price!  :thumbd:

     :o

    I feel for you.

My quote with them was too much to swallow so I have had to stay with Esure.

When I spoke to them a couple of weeks ago (when I got my Abarth) they quoted me a over £4k!! :o (i.e. 22% of cars new value!)

Only because I bring my NCB from abroad?

I now end up paying about £700, which is a decent price I found.

Have you spoken to [email protected] direct or just call centre.

If not drop him a PM, you never know what magic he can work.

Might make it more swallow-able

Give the personal touch a go, only so much an automated number generator can do.

Wouldn't be surprised if that was the answer regardless...

I went from an old MG Diesel to a GPS and they wanted an extra £800!

So I cancelled (paid the extortionate £220 cancellation fee) and went to Admiral for about £400...  Saved myself over £600 including the fee

Admiral wanted silly money for me this year, even after calling them.

Swings and roundabouts as they say

    ^^ Same here

Get lots of quotes from many companies and then go with the cheapest, you need to shop for insurance these days as they all want to deal with different demographics.

Mine went down with Admiral this year so it's just a case of finding the right one.  :thumb:

Me and Julie were moaning about our £489 last year when it went up by £40. It don't seem so bad now.
Now that I'm a grown up I drive a sensible grey 595 Competizione with grey leather sabelt seats and yellow brake calipers. It's jolly nice! It's got a name - ' Razzogrigio' Now with a custom S/S group N style exhaust, black Esseesse wheels and a GTT induction kit, all sitting on Eibach springs.
