Equity Red Star Insurance..... Any Good??
« on: July 06, 2011, 11:44:04 pm »
Evening all!

I have been in touch with Adrian Flux who have been very helpful in getting me a fantastically low price for my car insurance but it is with a company called Equity Red Star... Ive never heard of this company before and have got quite alot of really bad reviews online but i was just wondering if any of you guys have used them and how you find them.. Apparently they specialise in Abarth and have managed to get me a quote that is about 150 quid cheaper than any other company but is this for a reason???

Cheers guys

Carl

    Thanks L Brench,

do you have the white a 500 with the black stripes now? did i see your pics of your crash where they nicked stuff?

That was quite recent wasnt it? did it all go smoothly? were their customer services ok because thats the bit ive read some bad reviews on? They have given me a really good quote so im very tempted...

    What was your quote Carl?
Now that I'm a grown up I drive a sensible grey 595 Competizione with grey leather sabelt seats and yellow brake calipers. It's jolly nice! It's got a name - ' Razzogrigio' Now with a custom S/S group N style exhaust, black Esseesse wheels and a GTT induction kit, all sitting on Eibach springs.

I paid £504 last year with admiral... now with my esseesse pack and monza they want £855!!!

    Mental!!

When i was 25 and i had that alfa which was insurance group 15 same as my now essessed 500 i was paying £460 a year! Im now 27!!

I called Adrian Flux after seeing them advertised on Abarthisti and they put me onto Equity Red Star and they have quoted me £559 which is what i was expecting after having the mods fitted! i was going to go for it then i decided to read the reviews and it gets cained online! everyone is slating them for crap customer care but the next cheapest quote ive had is for £697 from esure.....
